Caktus has grown sharp web and SMS applications for business, higher education, and social good since 2007. Our Agile teams focus on developing for impact, smooth ongoing operations, and scalability where appropriate. We specialize in custom Django and React apps, but also offer discovery workshops, best practices consulting, and team augmentation. As a full-service shop, Caktus aims to provide clients with an expertly curated experience throughout the development process. Past and current clients include Creative Commons, Duke Health, UNDP, Truth Initiative, PBS, and others in media, travel, education, finance, and health research.
We are looking for a dynamic Partnerships + Strategic Solutions Architect (PSSA) to help plan, design, and maintain the relationships Caktus has with each of its external business partners.

The Partnerships + Strategic Solutions Architect (PSSA) role is one of five in a new process we are launching called the Caktus Strategic Lifecycle (CSL) and co-leads the activities within Phases IV and V. The PSSA leads the creation of channels to identify new partnerships, uses data-driven processes to validate the efficacy of current partnerships, and collaborates to cultivate mutual ROI with all stakeholders.

  • Guide the entire partnership roadmap from lead generation to project completion
  • Cultivate existing partnerships through meaningful and timely communication and documentation
  • Curate future opportunities with existing partnerships from data-driven project experiences
  • Create new partnerships in alignment with Caktus core values and strategic goals

The First 90 Days...

  • Participate in client introductions and develop insights about our current partnerships
  • Observe our current processes to gain a deep understanding of our internal practices and offer creative insights on how we can incorporate new ideas
  • Begin working with the CSL launch team to implement our 2022 strategic plan
    ...60 days...
  • Collaboratively build plans and process documentation for current partnerships
  • Become an expert on how the contract and scope of work development and execution process works at Caktus
  • Continue working collaboratively with other members of the CSL launch team to set targets for our 2022 strategy, process, and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
  • Start creating key stakeholder maps for all current partnerships

  • Create a fully integrated and streamlined documentation process for existing partnerships in collaboration with the CSL launch team
  • Establish well-documented key stakeholder maps for all current partnerships and a well-defined roadmap inclusive of specific tactics for curating future partnerships with existing clients in alignment with the 2022 strategic plan
  • Present a developed schedule of work for new/existing partnerships for Q2 and a developed network of new and existing partnership opportunities for Q3 of 2022
