### The Role

Ownership of expensive, underutilized assets is considered burdensome where services such as transportation and dining can be ordered on demand. So why do we live in the stone-age when it comes to sharing rental property? Our per-bedroom leases redefine what it means to find a home anywhere in the world. We make co-living as easy as booking an Uber.

The operations Associate role plays a critical part in the growth of our co-living community. You will provide a world-class experience to the tenants and landlords in our community by implementing operational processes and offering excellent customer support. You will work with our engineering team closely to create feedback loops and accelerate product iteration.

What you'll do:

  • Optimizing operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality standards
  • Owning day to day operations of Alcove.
  • Onboarding properties and tenants to the Alcove platform
  • Managing our 3rd party vendors and systems
  • Providing seamless communications to and between tenants, landlords, Alcove stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors
  • Direct, independent, and regular interactions with our tenants and real estate partners (e.g. Landlords, Property Managers, Homeowners)
  • Maintaining clear, updated, and accurate records in our CRM as well as updating other relevant internal documentation
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Engineering to streamline processes and improve the product/
  • Servicing as the primary contact for the onboarding of new residents, as well as provide post-move-in support when required
  • Grow our team, best practices, training, analytics, etc.

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Operations Associate or in a similar role in operations, consulting, customer success, or real estate space.
  • Excellent organizational, people management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer facing experience, especially customer support and customer service
  • Passionate about working at a fast growing co-living startup
  • Ready and willing to jump in and support other departments and roles
  • Preferred but not required: Real Estate and property management licensing/accreditation
